When a snazzy Maserati pulls up in front of your casa with a trunk load of rosé, you know it’s going to be a good day. We don’t need to tell you that a little luxury and a lot of booze can go a long way in the seemingly endless days of quarantine. (Yes, we see you and all the skyrocketing alcohol sales during the pandemic.)
Cue: Bodvár House of Rosés. The creators of the elegant, pale pink rosé wines made with grape varieties Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah that are grown in their Côtes de Provence vineyards, have dreamed up a one-of-a-kind delivery service.
A few weeks ago, the rosé boutique started sending out gifts to loyal customers delivered by a driver in a Maserati (and even a yacht), who plays the dramatic part dressed in a pink jacket, pink shoes, and white gloves.
As you can imagine, it was so popular that now they’re offering the free delivery to customers twice a week. “We wanted to spread a little rosé-colored light during this difficult time,” says Ann Hafström, chief operating officer of Bodvár. “We love all of our supporters, customers and friends in South Florida and wanted to do something fun for them to show our appreciation. Sipping our rosés will whisk you away to the Mediterranean.”
They’ve partnered with 305wines.com, and customers who order one case of Bodvár No. 7 ($137.94/case), Bodvár No. 5 ($164.94/case), or this gorgeous special occasion gift box ($100), receive a fancy-pants, free delivery. You’ll be giddy receiving this white-glove service.
A driver all gussied up in pops of pink, white gloves and a mask will arrive with the goods, and customers can either practice social distancing by having the driver leave it at the door, or run out to the car to claim their stash (6-feet apart from the driver, of course) for that Instagram moment we’ve all been missing..
If you’d like to pick up Bodvár instead, 305 Wines has created a rosé drive-thru at their Florida Wine Academy warehouse in North Miami. They’re open six days a week and Sundays by appointment.
